D. APPLICATIONS

C.I.Pigment Yellow 155 (PY 155) is an important bis-acetoacetarylide disazo yellow Pigment imparting Greenish Yellow shades. This Pigment has an unique structure

possessing high tinctorial value and can be an alternative to Benzidine Yellow Pigments.

Due to its superior solvent resistance and light fastness properties, it is recommended for use in Paints, Plastics and Printing Inks.

It shows excellent fast ness in over-coating baking enamels. In alkyd-melamine system can withstand 140o C for half an hour. Comparable to PY-16 towards light fastness both in tint and full shades,

In Paints it can withstand temperatures up to 160o C. In PVC Plastics application it can withstand temperatures up to 180o C. In HDPE can withstand 260℃/5min at 1/3 standard depth colour with no change.

In Ink Printing system PY-155 can be used for all Printing Techniques. Further the prints have high level of fastness to Soaps and can resist Butter and vegetable oils.
